With it’s high price, complicated logistics, and language barriers, planning a trip to the distant Patagonia can feel extremely daunting. Many people put an eighteen day trip to the end of the world on their bucket list or Pinterest board and it haunts them for years as they wait for enough money or a free schedule. Sure, there may seem like a lot of obstacles, but when we’re talking about watching the sunrise hit the towers of Torres del Paines, we believe it’s worth it.
We’re not careless, or some modern traveling hippies. Heck, we’re simply a group of social workers, marketing directors, nannies and construction workers, but we believe Patagonia’s awesomeness is accessible to anyone who wants it bad enough.

Though often seen as an “escape” for those with money & time, Ginger Kern believes travel is not just about exploring other countries. She knew how it felt to be bold and adventurous abroad and wanted to avoid the trap of coming home and playing it safe with old routines.
With three simple questions, she found a way for anyone to stay in the traveler’s mindset and live a life of adventure, no matter where they are in the world.
Ginger Kern is a Fulbright alumna and a Global Shaper as part of the World Economic Forum. Originally from the Midwest, she left the U.S. to work in Europe for three years, traveling to 25 countries around the world by the age of 25.
